I'll always drink to that, possibly even if they're playing against the Pats. Just don't tell any of my Boston friends. :) |

Re: go CHARGERS
Hey man, my wife is a life long Cubbies fan and it was an easy transition. Cubbies and Saints fans are hopeless romantics and cock-eyed optimists. peace, love and jazz fest, Paul Sanchez |

Re: go CHARGERS
Paul, As you know, I am a Cubs fan also and living in NYC now - just kills me...it is like being in a sea of despair...Yankees/Mets...UGH! Though your quote about Cubs and Saints fans is great! |

Re: go CHARGERS
I can take a Yankees fan, sense of entitlement and all because I lived in New York in the late eighties and the Yanks were terrible so being a Saints fan I felt at home and tickets were easy to come by. The Mets were winning the Series and I worked for two big Mets fans, I dug my bosses but I got a first hand look at Mets fans gone wild. I also just dug that subway ride out to Yankee Stadium where if you rode the first car and stood in the front window you would come out of the darkness of the subway tunnel and the stadium would be the first thing you'd see and it seemed to fill the sky. peace, love and jazz fest, Paul |

Re: go CHARGERS
To hell with football, since my beloved Redskins are taking an extended vacation. How about the Terps knocking off those cocky #1 rated Tar Heels in hoops yesterday! A sweet day for the lads from Maryland!! |

Re: go CHARGERS
No team in the ACC can do what the Patriots did this year. I knew it was going to happen pretty soon. I'm just glad my Tar Heels didn't loose to Dook. The Terps and Gary Williams I can take. |

Re: go CHARGERS
Greg: I'm with you about Duke basketball. There's no team in any sport I'd rather see lose than Duke. I hate (I know, bad word for a positive forum)Duke more than the Dallas Cowboys and I can't stand the Cowboys! I'm predicting a Terps win over Duke this Sunday. |

Re: go CHARGERS
While I am pulling for the Patriots, I love the Mannings. If my Pats do lose, it'll take the edge off just a little bit. :) I was happy for Peyton last year. |
