Cowboy Mouth in France in 1993
Thanks to the folks that have bought Exit already, it is doing very well and I'm hoping word spreads. I am so pleased and excited to get the discs out now just as the weather is warming, festival season is on s and new beginnings feel right. I found some stuff on you tube that helped me look back at the past with a big grin. A performance Cowboy Mouth did in Renne, France in 1993. I had forgotten how much fun it all was, it was nice to see our innocence, confidence and youthful arrogance as if we knew we were the best band ever why didn't everyone. The beginning of that made me laugh oh so much. No to mention the hair! Oh gosh! Though I suppose I should admit, that I also had big hair circa 1993. :) |

Whacha gonna do was the song and how is this for irony. I was driving down Lousiana Ave. Anyway, I have felt that ya'll where the best band ever. I know your CM days are over, but you last work with them Voodoo Shoppe reminded what it was like to buy some music and not want to listen anything else for the next 10 days. I saw the solo acoustic on youtube too. It was great. Must have been from 95 or 96. One of the songs you said would be on upcoming album end up on "are you with me?". I am going to order Exit to Mystery Street soon. What I have heard of it sounds great! Keep it up! Can't wait to see you live somewhere that is within driving distance of Western NC. |

holy crap! those hair comments are understatements! griff is straight out of foreigner, or at least loverboy in that video. hi-freakin-larious. he might not want the 3 bears to see this video, b/c they will find him and take their revenge for the porridge. |

my hair hasn't changed much over the years. especially since 93, except it was thicker back then. ah, age. the 80s, well, i was just in grammar school, so nothin too different there either. :P |

That's disappointing! That just means your big hair days are "yet to come". Maybe you can have crazy old guy hair a la mad scientist or something. |

yeah. i'll be one of those crazy guys who goes almost bald and lets what he has left grow forever and then wrap it around my head and believe that no one will notice that it's a combover. :) btw, there is even a documentary on combovers. i highly recommend it. |

Just go with the super long pony tail that starts from below your ears. I think that looks kinda like someone pulled your pony tail and stretched your forehead. hehe. Sorry to hijack this and turn it into the bad hair thread but hey it had 1993 in the title. :) |
