Where Y'at review April issue
I got my first review on Exit from New Orleans monthly magazine, Where Y'at. Check it out. i want to thank editor Jjosh Danzig and the writer Rebecca Brych for giving me space in this month's ussue and for a wonderful review. peace, love and jazz fest, Paul Paul Sanchez Exit to Mystery Street Paul Sanchez Paul Sanchez, one of New Orleans’ favorite songwriters and the organizer of the Rolling Road Show, is back with new songs and awesome compilations in his new release Exit to Mystery Street. Sanchez brings a voice and lyrics to this album that will make you want to tap your feet, bob your head, and swing your hips. Sanchez is joined by others such as John Boutte, Freddy Omar, Sonia Tetlow, Shamar Allen, Alex McMurray, Craig Klein, and Eric Bolivar of Bonerama. It is hard to decide whether the lyrics, instrumentals, or the whole package is the best part of this release, but in any case, it is a fun album with great energy and intensity. The album was produced back to back with John Boutte’s Good Neighbor and is a wonderful follow-up to Sanchez’s previous album, between friends. -Rebecca Brych |
