I would love to bring a real slice of New Orleans to Fitzgerald's but as this is their first time booking me there wasn't enough in the budget for a full Rolling Road Show trip. I' really just glad to be a part of the event because I've heard about it for a long time and it sounds like a good time. However, if anyone wants me to bring along Boutte, Shamarr, Sonia or other Road Show members and knows of someone who might sponsor the excursion I'd be willing to wear a robe that says Ralph's Meatpacking Plant on the back like Stallone did in Rocky. peace, love and jazz fest, Paul |

Wow and I protested having to wear my little bank flagscape lapel pin thingy. :) Chi-town sounds fun. Perhaps I should look for some cheap flights. |

There are FF seats available ... and train service within walking distance of the venue, it appears. These are things that make Joy happy. :) |

Yep... The CTA Blue Line runs within a few blocks of Fitz's.. You can take it there right from O'Hare Airport for only $2.... and about 1 1/2 hours... :P FF seats.. ?? JC |

Man I miss Chicago... I love Fitzgeralds and the Americana festival - used to see the Bad Examples there all the time - first time I saw CJ Chenier and Sonny landreth... Man I miss Chicago (and New Orleans)... |
