Is it too early...
...to start a roll call for Paul's May 15 show at the Iota Club in Arlington, VA? Per the Iota site it starts at 9:00 so hopefully even if I get stuck at work late I won't miss too much. The Iota site says "Full Band Show." Who else will be there? Looking forward to seeing everyone! |

Hear hear! Hopefully bringing newbies. Will bring buckets and buckets of water if Poppy will feel more at home. Going to rock the shrimp boots again? |

I can't make to up to VA, but I am going the Charlotte show on May 10th. Which is suppose to be Paul with Bain Mattox. No sure how much of the show will Paul and how will Bain, but I can't wait. Anyone else going to Charlotte? The tickets are only $8! |

We're headed to Boston for the weekend the following day and then Vegas for most of that following week, so this is a warm up! :) |

The show at Iota is me solo, I don't know why they are advertising it as a full band show. I have asked my booking agent to look into it because I think its a bit misleading. We had talked about bringing the Road Show with me on this tour but unfortunately the money we are being guaranteed wasn't enough for anything but me solo. Bain and some of his band may sit in with me for a few songs. For now if you want to see the Rolling road show in full bloom you have to come to New Orleans or Osh Kosh this July. peace, Paul |

We'll be a Charlotte. Paul plays early so don't be late! :) Not at Iota and unfortunately not at Raleigh b/c it's Mother's Day. |

Good lord, woman! Never forget a mom on Mother's Day, especially a Jewish mother! ;) Ya'll know I have nothing but love for the Road Show, but it's been a long time since Paul has had us all to himself. I'm kind of glad it's a solo show. I got to see Bain a couple of years back at True Experience and this past summer at IOP when he opened for the Mouth; he's pretty cool. He plays an accordian with a style I didn't think was possible with that instrument. So... my requests for Iota are: Bronco Bill's Lament and All Alone... and Runaway Lovesick Train. |

Is Confidential Dance the one that begins, "I reached my hand under her black sweater"? I love that song and never knew what it was called (because I have about four of Paul's studio releases and about 30 concert CDs - thanks Jeff). Speaking of which, if anyone would like and if Paul doesn't mind I'm happy to make some copies of some shows for people. The Christmas Show from 2001 (aka the Paul box set) is a personal favorite. |
