guitar lesson and life's blessins'
Hello Paul, I really enjoyed reading this post and it drove a point home to me. You are an incredible song writer/reporter and what you experience in life and your take on it comes through vividly in your writing. Even when your words express frustration, unhappiness, rage, or what have you I have always gotten the sense of joi de vive from your work and it is one if the reasons I admire it. Reading the delight you are experiencing in "learning" to play the guitar makes me think of a line from a favorite author of mine writing about someone he admired: "There was something of the boy about him which most men pretend to outgrow, and, doing so , thus become old."
