Courage and Perseverance

I am grateful to those individual's, past and present, for using their gift of confrontation to bring truth to an aberrant policy. However, the imbedded dishonesty, fraud, and malfeasance that permeates any group to enhance their own standing may seem to be an impenetrable barrier and those who attempt to change it inevitably fall from favor and are no longer allowed access to the go along to get along fraternity.

"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."

When you begin a great work, don’t expect to finish it all at once, therefore press on. Let nothing discourage you from entirely finishing what you’ve begun.

Now, as for me, I assure you I will press on, even though the contrary winds will blow strong in my face, I will go forward until I have finished, and I encourage you do the same!

"This war did not spring up on our land, this war was brought upon us by the children of the Great Father who came to take our land without a price, and who, in our land, do a great many evil things... This war has come from robbery - from the stealing of our land." -Spotted Tail (Sinte-galeshka) - Chief of the Brule Teton Indians-
