James there are a couple of thoughts that you shared that I would like to add my thoughts to...and also hear you comments regarding them.
This was an amazing topic that you touched upon and wonderful insight that you have blessed us with. I am truly humbled. Thank you.
You shared..."If it must be for a time you seek, waiting on God, then the path is passive reception"...not sure what you mean by this? I would love for you to enlarge upon it.
I think I understand...for you go further in enlarging this topic of metamorphosis with your statement.." a prize defined as being summoned by God into a higher dimension in Christ, he speaks of his target as, "...attaining into the out resurrection that is out from among the dead." (vs.11)
This Higher Dimension that you speak of is where few ever arrive at...but I do believe that the OUT RESURRECTION is very real and even takes place while one is living...for I believe that I have experienced it recently....with so little commentary written by others on the subject it has been hard for me to PROCESS what has really occured within me...(this is proboly a good thing that Father has allowed...not wanting me to get alot of revelation & experience of others...but to go to Him for understanding and TRUST Him even though I might not understand everything at the present).
Continuing...you go forward explaining..."Who will transfigure the body of our humiliation to conform it to the body of His glory,....'..."This prize is physical metamorphosis, the salvation of our bodies. It is overcoming our mortality. " As I pondered on what you shared and I STARTED TO SEE what you are speaking of....THE BODY OF HUMILIATION...TO CONFORM IT.....TO THE BODY OF HIS GLORY.. I see now how it is only those of the OUT RESURRECTION who will have moved into such a place of this HIGHER DIMENSION so that this CONFORMING PROCESS will begin in the natural body...wowo...for I have seen this conforming process taking place in my Spirit and Soul...but now you have given such RICH DETAIL on the PROGRESSION of how this will take place within the body...."Who will transfigure the body of our humiliation, to conform it to the body of His glory, in accord with the operation which enables Him even to subject all to Himself." (vs.20-22) "
In accord with the OPERATION...hmmm....still am wondering what this word means.... for it is a beautifully DEEP WORD and has a glorious MANIFOLD meaning I am sure....honestly, there are times where I feel that I am being LITERALLY operated on (my head...sometimes it has even felt like a knife...and have wondered is it God operating on me...or is it the devil trying to steal, kill, and destroy what has been WROUGHT within...this is what I have called my Dragon/Michael WARS within my heavens). This what I have shared in the parenthesis has really been painful for me in many ways...b/c I realize that there has been something HOLY so BIRTHED within me...and I have not always done the best job at guarding it and cherishing it...and have even wondered if I have allowed corruption in....and yet I hear the words of the Lord speak to me ever so gently and softly and remind me "Eliyah, you cannot corrupt that which I am within you".
This what you share toward the end is GLORIOUS...."What the Authorized Version translates with the word "perfect" also means "mature" and "finished" in Greek. The "finish" line in this race is where our "maturity" is brought to "perfection." The issue is to beat death. "
I totally get it (my spirit more than my mind...for there is something that I bear witness to in this statement even though it is still like a mystery with the puzzel pieces being added to this GLORIOUS PUZZEL daily.) You give clarity to this with "that we arrive at sufficient "maturity" to be out of whatever is dead."...and then these words immediately after is what spoke so POWERFULLY to me..."Rather than being aged by the dying or mortal processes we would be matured by Christ into deathlessness, immortality and incorruptible life. "
Once the OUT RESURRECTION occurs ...this it halts the dying...and the MATURING by CHRIST starts to take place....as seen in the natural with a newborn...it starts to grow...little by little, daily the change is taking place...happens slowly and in stages but you see the progression through the mile-stones of that child's life...SITTING UP on its OWN, crawling, taking its first steps, then WALKING, then RUNNING...FIRST TOOTH, FIRST BIRTHDAY, on & on.....TRULY GLORIOUS!
So I see this MATURING by CHRIST into deathlessness, immortality and incorruptible life....as also manifesting similar mile stones WITHIN....(the counterfit New Agers talk about how they are starting to look younger and how their grey hair is even getting blonder ..ect) ....and while I know that they are of the counterfit...there is also TRUTH to what is & will be taking place in those of the OUT RESURRECTION within their natural body...for I have literally felt a change taking place within my body ...I don't understand it but it is what it is and I am thankful for it and looking for more MILE STONES in this unfolding of His maturing within me.

Joian recently shared a beautiful article on the marrow that is found within the dead bones...how until that marrow is completley dried out of the bones (of old adam) that it will STINK...due to the corrupting properties that are still present...so this is where I see your statements of "Whatever of the body is a decaying (or corrupting) corpse it cannot obtain incorruption"...shedding light on this illustration.
Now in conclusion you share..."Whatever impact our devotion may have had on our entrance into the Divine nature, there is ultimately no choice, "For this corruptible MUST put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality." Not the mortified which means already dead, but the mortal, those dying with the aging processes, this is who must put on deathlessness or immortality." Those appointed royal priests in whom this grace strives now apprehend to impart to others what they have obtained."
My brother...WOW! That is some serious, WEIGHTY revelation...and I am still pondering on it and will continue to..for I see (as through a glass darkly right now) that which you speak of "but the mortal, those dying with the aging processes, this is who must put on deathlessness or immortality."....I wonder how this happens ( and if there is more to this mystery that will be UNFOLDED to those of the OUT RESURRECTION...although I believe that what you have shared is as one that has been blessed with seeing the BLUEPRINTS...and showing what the entrance looks like...giving great insight)...and then I am also reminded of my beautiful brother John and his words that he quotes so often..." I can even feel Him working the old out and working the NEW in)....and that brings such comfort b/c it really is ALL about HIM and HIS WORK...there is nothing I can do but continue to ask for His grace to be given to YIELD to His workmanship...and even doing that is by HIS GRACE that I even know to ask for it!
Oh! OUR WONDERFUL LORD JESUS/Yahshua...He is wonderful isn't he?...!!!
