How can others know and learn of God’s love? It is ONLY by first experiencing His love personally. Those of us who have experienced God’s love are slowly but surely learning to live by His nature and love in such a way that others will see God in us. Whenever that connection is made — FELLERSHIP has begun! Click here to visit our website Fellership.com
Please join in on the discussions in progress or start your own.

Please visit here for a page of links. The cool thing is, anyone can add a link - so let's please take advantage of this and share some of our online goodies with each other.

Message:   This is a copy of an E-mail I received along with my response. I have shared these thoughts with Joian before as we discussed the subject of "sonship and our resurrected bodies." I thought it would fit within this discussion as it maybe clarifies my position. I am not trying to over-spiritualize, but really do believe this way at this time.

Inquiry:

I am so grieved over ALL the demises in the last year of Kingdom people I have known, and I have to wonder; is He going to let us all go the way of the grave? The way I look at it, what good was all this wisdom and knowledge, if we all go the grave route the same as the average man on the street? I'm sorry, but I have never been one to care about piling up treasure in heaven, so I could just die to go to it. That's no different than the rapture mentality to me. Nor did I ever want to live "forever", just for the sake of living forever. I guess what I am saying is, if not to overcome the last enemy while still in the body, what was this all for? Am I the only one that thinks this way?

My response:

______, I just know to surrender all in prayer every night and I'll let the chips fall where they will. I can't add one cubit plus I believe the "twinkling of eye" speaks to how such will come upon us, as not only "quickly" but also "almost unawares." Because we have our single eye so fastened on Christ we may even walk in our resurrected body for a period without even realizing it.

It seems that is the way things have been working with me, and more so with each day. I am becoming more and more divorced from the awareness of my own physical position in this world. I am learning to live and find His glory in a place I once never would have "wished" to be cast into. How often I contemplate these scriptures.

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me." John 21:18,19
