Cheryle,
I am finishing up my online realtime training at Alfred State College based out of Rochester, NY. The Department Head at ASC is top notch. You are eligible for student loans as an online student based on your credit load per semester. Their financial aid department can provide you with the details.

I've heard really good words about the St. Louis Community College's online court reporting/captioning program based out of Meramec.

Please don't hesitate to write me at ceduke28@aol.com should you have specific questions.
Cheers,

Replying to: Hi, I am looking into professions and schools where I can use my 24 years of medical clerical experience and increase my talents. I have an interest in medical and/or legal areas. I happened to read an article re: men entering primarily female professions and it mentioned court reporting. Upon minimal investigation I found medical terminology is a must. I am single and live in Sacramento, Ca, and would like to do an online study course because of my work schedule. I would also like to know if there are any online schools that offer student loans. Is there anyone who could recommend a complete online course....with or without student loans. Thanks for your help |
