Message:		My partner and I tried very hard to go self employed, but due to being taxed for everything but farting, we had to give in before we went bankrupt (thanks for the support Britain). We tried to get employment but had to give in and sign on at Ammanford job centre, so at least we had a little money coming in until we could find jobs that would pay for our mortgage and usual bills. All we were confronted with was looks of disgust and questioned to death just incase we had a hidden million pound somewhere. They tried every which way not to help and give us benefit that we were entitled to. My partner and I applied for numerous jobs but were unsuccessfull for months, so the helpful job centre told us we must consider taking lower paid jobs and look further afield. We tried explaining that if we took the jobs they suggested we would lose our home and spend the majority of our pay on fuel getting there, and all the hours travelling and working, we would not have a life! They did not care about any of that, they said they had to follow procedures and policies. My partner and I could not take it anymore and signed ourselves off (risky I know), just so we can try and start another business ourselves again because our own country was'nt prepared to help us. I just wish companies would realise its not just them who has to earn money but employees do to just to live a half decent life, which should'nt be asking to much in this day and age, should it? And now the budget has just doubled tax on lower paid workers. Why dont you just Kick us down more please Gordon Brown than we already are.
