Dear friends of horses!
UNTIL our politicians get the bills passed to stop horse transportation to slaughterhouses, our horses will be sent to a hellhole called San Bernabe to be brutally killed for dinner plates abroad. I doubt we'll have those bills passed anytime soon since we are up against billionaire enterprises with highly paid lobbyists while we only have our compassion. Nevertheless, I still believe that with a lot of courage and hard work, we'll be able to turn the tables & send the monsters back to where they came from.
FOR the time being let's see if we get the Mexican government to shut down San Bernabe! Even if they don't shut it down, they may be pressured to at least improve the conditions of the victims sent there.
THEREFORE, I am organizing a cyber protest for next week. The emails will be directed at the Mexican embassies worldwide and their tourism agencies. It may not seem like a lot, but it will be one step forward since horse suffering is horse suffering, regardless of American or Mexican horses.
THE CYBER PROTEST: Basically, each person will send out a set of 3 messages to about 300 emails each (Mexican embassies, Mexican tourism agencies, Mexican airlines). I am hoping to get at least 100 people to do that and the Mexican animal organization will do the same. The people on our general listings will be asked to write to their local Mexican embassies or consulate.

I am also organizing a demo in Washington DC at the Mexican Embassy. This might be May 19 or 20.
