ever picked someone up from the airport in trellis bay, tortola?

we are chartering in the bvi in june and were wondering about the feasibility/practicality of picking up a mooring in trellis bay and meeting someone coming in on a later flight by dinghy. is this possible do you think and, if so, what are the things we should look out for?

it is both easy and practical to pick someone up at the airport. I might suggest that if a lot of luggage is involved that you get a cab, but it is an easy less than 1/2 mile walk

Hi, we are being picked up and dropped off there this time. Only difficulty may be around the full moon when there party happens.

Yes, we did it this past Christmas. We moored out of Trellis Bay for the evening. Our kids had a flight into Beef Island from Puerto Rico. We just dingied over to the Trellis Bay dock, and it's about a 5 minute walk to the airport. We met them (mind you we even forgot our shoes on the boat and walked barefoot) and walked back to the dingy. Piece of cake - will do it that way again. Have a grand time.
