Dream bikes

With the better weather comes....the summer/best bikes appearing....

So i thought i'd start a dream bikes thread....post up your dream machines with pics of course.....

I'll start of with this one....straight from italy the home of dream machines imo.....

Got to be an S-Works Tarmac SL2 for me:



Maybe one day I'll be able to convince my other half that it's a good investment and to let me spend the £5K on it!

Alfa bicycle? would be a nice ride but would breakdown often

Hey sparkey....got to defend against the Alfa comment....after you mentioned lotus yesterday...what was the last make of car you saw broken down? Bet it wasn't an alfa? There build & reliability is probably as good if not better than most european makes of cars....

Only mentioned Lotus as my father has a Lotus 7 he's been restoring. While it has its quirks (clutch from a Comma van) they are proper sports cars. Originally designed for racing.

I take your point about the Alfas, what is surprising is that in a What Car survey the Rover 25 was in the top 10 of reliable cars Old technology must be more rugged.
