I assume you believe TRANE is the better choice here and that you're experienced with both? You're in Pittsburgh which isn't so different from my location in Philadelphia, climate-wise so your reply is of interest to me. I'm not an HVAC person and I'm looking to make a good choice here. Trane offers a 10 - 12 year warranty on their compressor while Goodman offers lifetime. The quote I have from the TRANE guy is higher than that from Goodman but offers 10 years of labor whereas Goodman offers no labor. THis is why the question.
