Am hearing that some of the Chair's supporters (in OKC) and you know who you are, are saying "the Butler's stopped the Don Kelin (TOS) thing. IS THERE NOT AN OUNCE OF HONESTY AND "CADDO" IN THOSE MAKING THESE COMMENTS?

Gotta wonder if the fact that Dale Butler is running for Chair against Brenda and Delita Butler is running for Treasurer against Carla is the reason for this.

Now, here is the way it played out. Firstly, the Chair and Gina Sage did all of the talking to attorneys, on both sides, of the Don Kelin thing so no one knew what was going on. But that is par for the Chair, we, the Council for the most part were ignorant of what was going on because we were not told, and the Chair and Ms. Sage, talking to these people, who were way over their head (Chair and Sage's head), basically did not know what was going on.

A meeting was held with the banker there, the attorney's there, Mr. Kelin and his attorney there and here comes the problems. Obviously Ms. Guy had been doing her thing. She started doing her thing on TOS and Kelin, along with her was Ann's sisters, Guyneth and Joyce, believe, Wildena Moffer, Jerrie Redcorn and her sister, Jennifer Wilson, all in tune with Carla Guy and we later find out Brenda, the Chair.

A Resolution was voted on to proceed with TOS and the Chair, Brenda Edwards broke the tie with a NO vote. Now, those who say it was the Butler's, get real, your Chair voted NO on proceeding with TOS.

While there had been some problems within TOS, believe those were the normal problems a business has when they are not paid for the merchandise they send to the customer. We, and Brenda okays all this, did not pay for items purchased from Kelin for three months plus. It came to the Business Managers attention he had not been paid, she took care of it that day. NOW, HOW CAN KELIN PAY HIS BILLS IF "WE AND OTHER CUSTOMERS DON'T PAY HIM"? Think you need to know what you are talking about before you make statements.

As for the Butler's, yes, they also fell into Carla's game and voted against TOS, but all based on Carla's comments, which were sent out for the world to know, which is causing her much concern at this point.

The Butler's came to the meeting to tell the Chair they would not pay for a hunting or fishing license to hunt or fish on their land. TOTALLY AGREE!!! WCD Enterprises was set up to simply collect rent due and pay bills, not to charge tribal members of the Wichita, Caddo and Delaware tribes to hunt or fish or even go on that land. Most certainly WCD Enterprise Board does not have the authority to divide the land and that will come back to bite them where it really hurts.

Don't even put the Butler's name out with the crew operating at the complex and out of OKC, and again you know who you are, while we have had our differences, they did what they did based on what was told to them. That is forgivable but to continue to support the atrocities going on up there is not forgivable.

I am one of those Butler's and while I am loud and will say what I feel needs to be said, I am honest as are all the Butlers. Believe, without a doubt Dale Butler will make a good Chairman, he is honest, smart and through his work experiences has those connections needed to bring Economic Development to the Caddo Tribe and its people. I also think Delita Butler will make a good Treasurer, she also is honest and has a lot of experience in her working career.

Should have posted in the above post the reasons for the post. Have heard the above mentioned group have stated the Chair has tried to bring Economic Development to the Tribe, i.e., TOS, Don Kelin's business, which by the way has been obviously successful, he has been in business for 21 plus years I believe.

This is to simply say based on what we do not have at the Complex, no Casino, also heard she is trying real hard to work on that so she can say she is trying to do something (with an illegal Council) since the election is in July. Would say she has waited too long. We don't even have a Smoke Shop. Now how hard would that be to get going?

Seems one would have to simply say "we are paying salaries" and providing few services. The Chair receives her salary whether she is there or not and I keep hearing "mostly not", could be hearsay!!!! We are paying some hefty salaries to some employees for the work performed. Just saying............
