Hi Anna,
I'm out of touch with current Benin volunteers so I can't answer your question. When I was a volunteer Health Volunteers taught hygiene, aids and STD prevention, promoted nutrition, and worked with mothers to educate them on infant care. Try sending a message to the Benin PCV support group moderator Rena Smith: webmaman@pcbenin.org. She can add you to the group and post a message to all the members.

I'm glad I came across this site - you've already answered quite a few of the questions I had. Do you know any health volunteers that served in Benin recently? I was hoping someone could tell me more about what they did and what kind of resources are available for use.
