Re: PCV's having Visitors from US

Both my parents and my brother came to visit me at my post in Bohicon. My mother and brother each came for a month and my father was there for two weeks. We spent a fair bit of time at my post where they got to watch me teach, visit with my neighbors and colleagues and experience my day to day life: zemijohns, marché, etc, etc....

With my mother I had some vacation time and we traveled to Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo. My brother actually traveled to northern Bénin with some of my PCV friends without me, as I was packing up and preparing for COS.

Returning home after two years in Bénin was a little easier knowing that there were at least three people who would understand when I felt overwhelmed with a grocery store or bewildered by some of the idiosycracies of the American lifestyle.

Have a GREAT experience and good luck!
