Howdy, Howdy, Howdy! Greetings from Zac, Dixon, Joe x 2, and the rest of the gang at Firefly!
This August marks another milestone for Firefly Entertainment. We'll be filming our biggest project ever: JOHN DUNN'S LAST RUN! Doo da da doo doo doo doo!!! (Email lacks the theatrical gravitas of 20th Century Fox's opening logo, an American Gladiator entering the arena, or even blonde bombshell cutting the ribbon on a used car dealership's grand opening but you get the picture.)
The Fireflies are getting together to make the dark comedy horror short film to end all dark comedy horror short films. It's funny and scary like milk duds mixed into your popcorn or Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest...delicious. We have some great people involved, all of whom are professionals wrangled in by promises of first born children or blackmail. We hope to take the Film Festival circuit by storm!
Now for the begging...
We have almost all the money we need but we're trying to raise those last few precious pennies and we need your help. All the money is going right into the budget for the best equipment we can afford. It's an ambitious project and we want to look as sexy as possible. We should have a beautiful and hopefully award winning calling card when we're through. Something to really jump start our careers. The idea being, "hey Mr. Studio big wig, look what we can do with 25 minutes and $25,000 imagine how great we could make your money look!"
When you donate you'll receive these fabulous prizes: Your name in the credits hopefully making this the longest credit sequence for a movie ever; Our undying love and devotion; and good Karma for your own projects and dream fulfillment! Most importantly you will have donated to the first movie of what will hopefully be the next great up and coming production company.
