I do not even know if my ancestors are Acadian (honestly, I don't even know what Acadian means), I only know they come from the French-speaking areas of Canada.

The names I am searching: Oliver Young born +/- 1807 somewhere in the French provinces of Canada, m. to Adeline Poucquet, I only know she was born in Canada, but not sure where, not sure her last name is spelled correctly. I think she was born somewhere around 1810. I only have the name of one son, Felix Oliver Young, born 25 Aug 1834, in Saint John's, New Brunswick, Canada. He married Domitilde Lussier, whom I thought was born in Canada, but have found US Census records indicating Kansas, USA; but also have census records indicating New York, USA! I have no marriage information on Oliver and Adeline Young, nor on their son, Felix and Domitilde Young. Felix and "Matilda" had several children, several died young and I have no information on them, not even their names. Of the children I do know about, I can only find information on 2 of them: Joseph Jean Albert Young, b. 1 Jan 1865, Montreal, Quebec, Canada (from parish records from: Église Saint-Enfant-Jésus du Mile-End); do not have death information. His brother: William Henry Young, Born: 21 Nov 1878, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Died: 28 Jan 1929, Los Angeles County Hospital, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA.

I would like to be able to find information on: 1) the remaining children - Minnie Young, Amelia L. Young
b. abt 1864, Thomas Young b. abt 1869, Walter Young b. abt 1871, George Young b. abt 1872.

I would also like to be able to find where Felix Oliver Young was born, and where he and his wife, Domitilde Lussier were married.

I would also like to find where Felix Oliver Young's father, Oliver Young, was born, and where he and his wife, Adeline Poucquet, were married.

I do not make this request lightly, and I understand this is a lot to ask. However, I have been searching for these connections for quite some time, more specifically for Felix and Matilda Young. I only recently came across Oliver Young and Adeline Poucquet from Felix's death certificate this year, but it does not give much information about his parents, other than they were both from Canada, no dates, no specific towns/cities, etc. I am extremely frustrated with these couples and quite simply do not have the faintest clue where to look for them. I would be happy to provide more information if anyone is willing to lend me a hand looking for these people.
