Soul-Patrol.com launches new digital compilation album

Fans may be interested to know that a new track by BO DIDDLEY's long-time music associate Scott Free is included on "Soul-Patrol.com Virtual/Digital Album 1.0", a unique on-line album project launched today (Thursday September 20th 2007).

Comprising 50 previously unreleased MP3 format tracks by 50 artists, the album of rock & roll, blues, funk, soul, jazz and nu soul will be available to download from next month for a limited period only. Pre-orders for the album, at a special discounted price, are now being taken at the Soul-Patrol.com website, located at http://www.soul-patrol.com/album

Other artists featuring on this unique compilation album project include The Dells, Public Enemy and Carl Gardner & The Coasters.

Scott Free has produced albums and/or songs for artists including BO DIDDLEY, blues performer Hamilton Loomis and funk band Munkeez Strikin' Matchiz. He has co-written songs and played on a number of BO DIDDLEY albums including "Ain't It Good To Be Free" (1983), "Breakin' Through The BS" (1989) and "This Should Not Be" (1993) and is currently a member of the hip-jazz quartet Spilt Milk.
