Recorded on the evening of Tuesday July 28th 1970 at Jamaica Pond Park in Boston, MA, the 6 tracks which make up the live BO DIDDLEY concert lasting a total of 24:46, are as follows: "Bo Diddley", "Stage Announcement", "Bo Diddley Chant" (an early incarnation of "Bo Diddley-itis"), "Don't Want No Lyin' Woman", "You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover" (incomplete) and "Hey Bo Diddley" (incomplete). The personnel for the concert is as follows: BO DIDDLEY (electric guitar, vocals), LADY BO (electric guitar, vocals), Wally Malone (electric bass, vocals) and Fred Below (drums) and is a typical late 1960s/early 1970s BO DIDDLEY mix of freewheeling rock, blues, psychedelia and funk.

Sound engineer for the show, Dinky Dawson, writing for "Crawdaddy!" rock music magazine about some of the sound problems that he had encountered during The Byrds' performances at this show, wrote:

"Now you can hear BO DIDDLEY from the gig that almost didn’t happen. At least he never complained to me. He played so hot—sometimes, even when there are technical problems, true artists still can overcome them and play their soul".
