We have received the following from BO DIDDLEY's biographer George R. White:
--------------------
Hi David
Happy New Year, hope you and Lynn are well.
The programme makers have misinterpreted what Bo says in the interview.
In the interview, Bo states that he invented "the first tremolo", meaning tremolo UNIT (that thing he made out an old wind-up clock and some car parts). He most definitely did NOT invent the whammy bar, neither has he ever claimed that he did.
