BO DIDDLEY tracks on new Sinfonian Radio 1898 station

BO DIDDLEY's alternate take version of his 1955 track "Bring It To Jerome" is currently making the "Top 10 All-Time Requests" listing on Internet station Sinfonian Radio 1898.

The recently launched station has a playlist consisting entirely of tracks recorded by initiates of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc. The Sinfonia is a collegiate social fraternity for men with an interest in music. BO DIDDLEY became an honorary initiate of the Sinfonia's Eta Omega Chapter at a ceremony held in 1999 at the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville.

The Fraternity was created in the year 1898 at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. Since that time, the Sinfonia has grown into the largest music fraternity in the world, with more than 150,000 initiates and chapters on over 200 college and university campuses across the US. Some other notable Sinfonians include the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, singer Burl Ives, jazz musicians Count Basie and Duke Ellington, vocalists Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti and composers Aaron Copland, Nelson Riddle, Arnold Schoenberg, John Philip Sousa and Jim Webb.

We were delighted to be invited recently to provide the Sinfonian Radio 1898 website with its BO DIDDLEY biography, located at: http://www.sinfonianradio.com/radio/modules.php?name=topMusic&op=bio&idartist=14
