BO DIDDLEY will be remembered in his home town on Saturday June 6th 2009 during the 2nd annual Yulee Diddley Day celebrations.

Items related to his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, his iconic hat and other stage costumes, guitars, gold records, pics and other memorabilia will be on display for one day only at the Train Depot Museum in downtown Archer, FL between 10.00am-8.00pm.

The exhibit also includes the opportunity to win an iconic BO DIDDLEY Signature Gretsch guitar. Proceeds from the raffle to benefit The Archer Historical Society and The BO DIDDLEY Charitable Trust. Other special Yulee Diddley Day events taking place include a patriotic parade through downtown Archer featuring the Tuskeegee Airmen & Rolling Thunder Veterans, a ceremony to retire four American flags in honor of the 65th anniversary of D-Day, all day live music and entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, authentic Indian village and USPS Salute to Native American heritage, plus quilt sale at Archer United Methodist Church.
