Chess Records movie bio set for Spring release

Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks' new movie "Who Do You Love" will open in theaters beginning in March and April 2010.

The film, written by Peter Wortmann and Bob Conte, presents an intimate look into the lives of Leonard and Phil Chess, the founders of Chess Records. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008.

"Who Do You Love" features musician Robert Randolph in the role of BO DIDDLEY plus Jon Abrahams, Marika Dominczyk, Megalyn Ann Echikunwoke, Keb' Mo', Chi McBride, Alessandro Nivola and David Oyelowo and features a score steeped in hits from the Chess Records canon, including BO DIDDLEY's "Who Do You Love", Etta James' "At Last" and Muddy Waters' "Stuff You Gotta Watch".

Originally titled "Chess", the movie was retitled "Who Do You Love" in tribute to BO DIDDLEY, who passed away when the film was in its final editing stages.
