BO DIDDLEY's "I'm A Man" for world record attempt

A world record will be attempted Friday September 10th in Houston's Minute Maid Park. The idea is for 10,000 Major League Baseball fans to play the BO DIDDLEY classic "I'm A Man" on a harmonica at the same time, breaking the Guinness Book of World Records mark for "Largest Harmonica Ensemble". The current record is for 6,131 harmonica players last year in Hong Kong.

10,000 Hohner harmonicas will be given to fans as they enter the ballpark ahead of the Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game next month. Afterwards, harmonica pros Gary Allegretto, Ronnie Shellist and Sonny Boy Terry will take the field and teach the 10,000 fans how to play BO DIDDLEY's "I'm A Man". According to Guinness rules, the crowd will have to play "I'm A Man" for at least five minutes to qualify as a world record.

The Houston Minute Maid Park is located at 501 Crawford Street, Houston, TX. More info: http://www.astros.com/ and http://www.pocketfullofsoulmovie.com/wre.html
