Yep, she was bitten over a week ago and spent the past week in hospital and did have surgery. She was discharged over the weekend and has had to go back to see the surgeon cos she still isn't feeling too good. From what I have heard spider bites take a long while to heal properly and can make you feel rotten for months afterwards.
Knew there was a reason why I dislike them so much!!]
