I saw a video dating 2008 in which David Soul spoke about its future projects, and he mentioned it a who intrigues me a little:

A movie would be in project the actor and Paul Michael Glaser of which he would be the director, but it did not mention precise dates. On the other hand, he says that the movie would take place to New York and in Floride.

Except for this video, I did not see the other information on this subject! Then, it is fictitious?
If somebody heard it spoken, if he or she announced us it.
