Athough there may be complaints surfacing the hip hop world, on the influence that it has on impressionable youth, i have to say that hip hop is impressing grown ass men and women, preaching them to objectify women, call them ******* and hoes, using men as paychecks (note i am a silva digga, not gold, i still keep my job) toss em around like they are on some battle field, scream murder like they are crying wolf, carry guns,(when the probably dont know how to use them), and revolve around sex....

Hip Hop is a Cult, turning out not just the listener, but the performer, the whole hustle of "get my ass on TRL and get it on there quick"... i need a dime, and fat stack with hoes... and they made a song about gold diggas...

many artist are crossing barriers, claiming new territory, and spitting straight cheese... I have yet to hear a good album lately... a couple of tracks may have caught my attention, but the whole lp is a disappointment.

The Holy Hip Hop bible says, you got have an entourage, lots of clothes,and lots of endorsements, a reality tv show,and maybe an energy drink that taste like straight toilet water! if one more rapper comes out with a clothing line, im bombing all the Macy's for selling them...

Music has evolved to a buisness of pure mockery... i honeslty refuse to buy a cd of an artist that isn't true to himself and music... tho it's not like they talking about real ****, tho i do know this girl that screwed on of the ying yang twins(knubbs), and well, she says you cant wait till you see his... but anyway, my point is, im quite disturbed when one of my kids in art class is singng " oo i think they like me", but i cant get him to learn color scales.

I do blame parents, and advisaries that allow their children to be exposed to the negative sides of the trade. Hip Hop is Beautiful, but it has turned ugly, because it is being taken advantage of. the most powerful movement has been coercerd by pimp juice, making the band, and country rapp...( nelly what were you thinking)... for the record, TRINA's new album is ... well if you haven't heard the release of her new song, you will eventually get my drift.

Im not here to diss hip hop (tho thats what i've been doing), all im saying is how come all these good artist, that have good music, are selling themselves out????? I was hurt by MOBB DEEP, cause i really liked them, and i blared "infamay" for 3 months straight yo! and now they are with GUNIT??????? *smacks forehead*** i know most of the conformity is due to the power of the dollar, but i say it like this, if you aint going international, you really ant got it that made... but what do i know? im just a nappy headed kid, that wants an IPOD for christmas, and thinks i know about music... but i also know mother said stick to your roots, and if you cant be true to your music, you cant be true to your audience!

sure, they are those that will buy the albums of these conformist, or even up and coming underground, coming above ground peeps, but music just ain the same when there is no passion in it. that's what a cult is, making you sacrafice reality for something that isn't true, even when it cost you your life, and in this case... music.
