Ar•ma•ged•don-WOLD WAR III-Israel/ Lebanon/Palestine/US
There isn’t a word that can really describe the essence of war that is taking place in Palestine and Lebanon. Some may describe it as being a Zionist-struggle to take over the world and others might describe it as being Israelis right to defend its polity and the fate of its existence. Well, regardless of what rational we use it seems that both rationales are premised on the wrong ideologies. As someone who grew up in a Muslim and Christian family, but who tends to read books written or coauthored by the Dali Lama, I am against any form of aggression especially against innocence. Regardless of rational used by Israel and Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) and Hezbollah (Party of God), nothing can justify the loss of innocence. You see, Israel has not realized yet that regardless of what it does, there will always be Hamas, Fattah, Hezbollah or some radical organization that it premised on dogma and politics that threatens its existence; thus the best thing Israel can do is to start loving its neighbor and end its apartheid occupation: You can’t isolate a group of people especially when their population is increasing at an exponential rate; also Israel must realize that alienation only breeds hatred and ignorance. As for the Arab world, the Arab’s must learn to forgive; forgiveness is easily said then done, but if Arab’s want to live side by side with Israel they must learn to respect the autonomy of their neighbors. Shooting rockets and launching suicide bombers into Israel only entice hostility and bitterness, and it facilitates the growth of organizations such as Terror Against Terror (TNT was established by Kach, the right-wing extremist political movement of Rabbi Meir Kahane). Thus, the best thing Israel and the Arabs can do is to put their radical minds together and seek an option that best generates an outcome that is beneficial to both of their sovereignty, and yes many UN resolutions have been passed to end the Israel and Palestine conflict but the problem has been that the two nations over the years have refused to obey the merits of the accord(s). Peace my brothers and sisters; peace in the Middle East and peace every where you might dwell, the day we realize that empathy and compassion is the only means we have as human beings to furthering the notion of love, understanding and respect then we can hope and begin to fathom a better life for our children and the generations to come.
