Whenever you get the chance check out a documentary called "Black Gold:" A documentary that focuses on trade agreements between companies such as Starbucks and Ethiopia. Many talk about globalization as a term that means sharing of culture and resources, but globalization can also mean exploitation of the poor. Today companies such as Wal-Mart, GAP and Starbucks exploit many around the globe and only the few have had the guts to speak on their behalf. When are we going to stand up and take a stand on moral principles? When are we going to say enough is enough? When are we going to realize and fathom the notion that, for those who don't have a voice we must be the one's to speak on their behalf; because if they exploit them today, they will defiantly exploit you tomorrow.
