Bees removing larvea

One of my hives is removing large amounts of larvea and depositing them on the ground in front of the hive. They are still white and fresh looking (not mummified or black). There are a few mature dead bees in front of the hive as well as a good amount of a yellow substance. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I can't find any disease for which these are the symptoms. There is still honey and nectar in the hive but they have removed most of the larvea. Please help!
