3d surfaces

i have completed a 3d building design and want to plot it but have dificulty making it solid in paper space. i have applied 3d surfaces and in model space i can hide objects and it works but when i plot in paper space and check the hide objects box my design plots as a wire frame. this is the first time i have drawn 3d. can you tell me what i am doing wrong?
