i've got the files now, the writer of the book sent them to me and also told me they are on the release 14 disk.

I am working through the book by Frede Uhrskov, AutoCAD Tutorials and the last tutorial needs for you to load the elev1.dwg from the help folder in AutoCAD 2000, but i have looked and i haven't got it, does anyone have it or know where i can get it from, i have tried the books website but it's not there.
