Whilst trying to find out who the lady is in the picture with Tyrone Power Senior and the question about Edith Crane, I did some searching around and found she was married to Tyrone Power Senior. She died after an operation it seems.

But this
article of Edith Crane who married Tyrone Power.....could it be another Tyrone Power. Is this our Ty's family history here in this article.

Alex, I have a book written by William Winter in 1913 and I feel silly, Edith Crane is in this book. it has her picture and it looks just like the lady in the ebay picture. I say it is Edith, look at the eyes mouth and nose. Edith had a tumor near her heart and they went to remove it, but she did not make it. I would have loved to see tyrone power sr and tyrone jr in a play that would have been so cool. The history of this family is neat, Tyrone's kids should be proud. Sometimes on ebay they have this book and sometimes it is very in inexpensive around $15.00. Thank you for all the information and love this web site!! Must be her then. So who is ty's mother then his real mother and does he look like his mother. I presume Edith Crane is not his mother right.
Now I feel stupid! I have goten confused somewhere along the lines of reading here who is who. Sorry I deal with a chronic pain injury and sometimes I am out of sorts.

Alex, here we go, some history on Tyrone Sr. Tyrone Sr. was married three times 1st wife which was Edith Crane. His second wife was Patia (Helen Emma Reaume) which is Tyrone Power Jr's and sister Ann's real mom. Tyrone Sr's third wife was Bertha Knight which was his last wife who also died. Patia was beautiful as all Tyrone Sr's wives were. Patia had big beautiful eyes and so did Tyrone Sr, put those two together and you can see why Tyrone Jr is so handsome. Hello, the lady in the picture with Frederick Tyrone Power is his first wife stage actress Edith Crane. It looks like their wedding portrait in 1898. Edith is holding flowers. And they are dressed in their very best clothes. Edith died on Jan. 4, 1912. She had a tumor near her heart. They did the surgery. She was very weak. She did not recover from the operation. She died four days later. I hope that helps you.
