Wow!! That is sad!! I did not know the post office rejected the stamp. I was part of the campaign, maybe next time. There were a lot of people who signed up. I am sure a lot of Tyrone fans were not happy. Let us fans know if another campaign starts up, I know we'll all sign up again. Thank you for the reply.

I'll try posting again about the local centennial celebration we had in the Chicago area. The last time I tried, Bravenet rejected my posting indicating there was a problem with the post.
As far as I can tell, they don't pay any attention to campaigns as they once did. Their agenda is political and skewed. I will only point out that Jose Ferrer was given a Forever stamp in 2013.
I would suggest writing and complaining. I am fairly positive that Charlton Heston was not the subject of a huge campaign - mainly because you used to have to be dead at least 10 years before qualifying, and the rules just changed. I don't think a lot of people knew about the change. Our campaign started in 2010.
