Link has probably been posted before but a great photo. Ty in his Marine Corp flight jacket. Actually it was called an M-422 during WW II. Later designated a G-1 for use by Navy and Marine Corp aviators. Air Force pilots wore an A-2 jacket (without the mouton collar, wind flap and bi-swing back). G-1's turn up on ebay often but a really quality one in goatskin costs about $500. I've owned a G-1 (with NO patches!) for about 15 years, great knock around jackets. I seem to remember one of his daughters once saying on some show that she had his G-1 jacket for years but then lost it in a move from one city to another.
