My name is Carol, I'm a daughter born in South Ruislip. I just wonder if anyone remembers my parents. They are both deceased now, almost 30 years. I can't seem to find any information on my fathers military service. Records burned in a fire. (Wonder how many people have heard that story?)Anyway, besides the 4 years in England, he served at Springfield AFB, Massachusetts; Walker AFB Roswell, New Mexico; Offutt AFB, Omaha, Nebraska. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
