Birth certificate

There have been two unanswered questions asking how to get a new birth certificate for births that took place on base. I was born at the hospital when it was still the 494th in 1953. At the time kids born in the UK were not issued a military birth certificate (I believe that is still the case). My British birth certificate was issued by the registrar for births and deaths in the sub-district of Ruislip in the county of Middlesex. Anyone born at the hospital on South Ruislip should be in the list of births for their time period. Additionally I have a copy of the Report of Birth, child born abroad to American parents issued by the US embassy and I was added to my mother's passport so I have three items verifying my birth in South Ruislip. My name also appears in my Dad's travel orders to go back home.
