My father was stationed at Ruislip from 64 (?) until 1967 when we moved to California. His name was Doug Grover and he was a dietician at the hospital. We spent many holidays having meals in the dining hall.
I was 14 years old when I arrived and boy oh boy did I have a ball as I got older. Spent lots of time with a Canadian girlfriend-it is a wonder we managed not to get into trouble.
I didn't want to leave when we were transferred.
