I arrived at Denham AB in January 1960, I was assigned to the 7500 Air Base Group which had administrative oversite for all seven bases in the London area. I was an A/2C and worked in Personnel, the Base had been the J Arthur Rank Studios and most of the buildings were connected. You could get from the barracks to the chow hall, the BX and many offices without ever going outside. My last three months in the UK (Oct-Dec 61) were spent at South Ruislip running the Rod and Gun Club. My wife and I are now living in Bath, England and would enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers those good old days.
