I have my Father's USAF number and would like to know whether it is genuine and if so can it help me to trace him. Any information anyone can give me would be fantastic, I seem to be banging my head against a wall. I have no idea whether he was posted at Ruislip (although I was born in Northants) but reading your posts, it occurred to me that someone may be willing and / or able to help.
