I used to enjoy walking through this cemetery when I lived in Richmond not knowing at the time that my great grandfather Francis Marion Trenor was buried in the Confederate Section. He entered the Soldiers Home (Camp Lee in 1927 and died there on 6 April 1930) and was buried in Hollywood Cemetery on 7 April 1930 in the shade of the Capitol that he loved.
he was in his 90th year. He was born in the Sinking Creek area of what is now Craig County and entered the home from Roanoke, Virginia. he out lived two wives, his first wife Caroline Amanda "Carrie" Walker was my great grandmother. Thank you.
