IN THE WIND: Virginia Thunder Storms
****************************************
In the wind
I stand and feel
An invisible force
That brushes my skin
A light and whispy breeze
On a hot Virginia day
It helps to cool me
It is summer here
A hundred miles from the Chesapeake Bay
In the evening...
The cooler air tumbles
Down the mountains from afar
To clash Richmond's hotter air
The sudden thunder storms seems to come
Most every evening with amazing surety
Mimicking the trusty rising of each morning's Sun
Loyal to all noticing joyous hearts
May the Lord stave off the lovers of deception
So common in our USA cities today
And keep our City of Richmond peaceful and free
For the innocent and all of God's children
Amen.
