Has anyone tried looking for antique dog carriages at the carriage auctions located in the UK? I collect antique dog carriages and I frequently buy them at horse carriage auctions in the USA. There is a large carriage auction held several times a year in Reading (UK). I would love to go, but I live too far away (Philadelphia, PA USA).

Since this is a horse carriage action, the auctioneer listed this John Deere wagon as a "miniature horse" wagon because they think it will get more bids with that description. BUT the original 19th century advertisements for this wagon say it was designed to be pulled by a large dog or pet goat.

Item 100 is a wagon style that is popular with the Midland Carter club.
