Are you not a slave to the dollar? Do you live like Ted Kaczynsky? At the very least, you're a slave to your personality. Freedom is an illusion as well. Every person I've ever communicated with that considered themself a nihilist has been in an apathetic tone. While sharing similar oppinions, I think that while emotions are useless, they can help conduct creativity and or destructiveness, which are both fun. I personally am a slave to fun, but there's a certain sensitivity that is needed for me to be receptive to it. Denying animal-like emotions is just as delusional as having them, and if you know a way to live life without ever seeing a crumple of currency, please let me know. Being broke in a class war is not an enriching way to live. I come to this site too much, I should be doing something productive now

I am a complete nihilist in my way of thinking, I believe the only way we can be free is not from what Sartre says in existentialism, but by completly understanding and comprehending nihilism. The problem with this is that it is very hard to think as a nihilist and live as one, especially in a society such as this one. My problem is that I am trying to live as a nihilist, but others who may feel or think as a nihilist don't live and act accordingly. My point is if nothing matters why not enjoy this life, expand the mind, and be creative? Why do people bend over and take it in the ass from corporate America, and slave away for the almighty dollar, and waste life worshiping for the benifit of heaven? One day we will all be in this soil with no gods to slave to and no heroes to kill for.
