Are there any known issues with specific Ethernet adapter models on certain operating systems?

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with specific Ethernet adapter models on certain operating systems. I'm having trouble with my Gigabyte adapter on Windows 11, where it gets disconnected after a few hours when connected to a USB type 3 port. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar issues with this adapter or other models on different operating systems.

I've also come across a post on LinuxQuestions.org where someone was having trouble connecting their Ethernet on any operating system. Additionally, there have been reports of Thunderbolt and USB Ethernet adapters not working consistently on macOS Monterey.

If anyone has any insights or solutions, please share them. Thank you!
