I took Diana up on her offer to call and talk to her directly....., shared my views, she shared hers and in the end...we didn't agree on everything, but we had a very productive adult conversation. Because at the end of the coversation we both knew more than we did when we started. She did share that she was frustrated with the forum and she could have posted her request for information in a more professional manner. And I appreicated that. I like her and look forward to meeting her face to face someday.

I also really appreciate Jen and the professional and pleasant way she has handled the monitoring of this forum. Her postings are always kind and well informed. She sticks to the subject matter and doesen't resort to name calling or badgering. Jen, have you ever thought about running for office? I'd vote for you in a heartbeat!

Tarshar --- shame shame shame on you for "outting" someone on this annoyoumus forum and then trying to attack Diana at her workplace! That is how she supports her family - her Caddo children. That was totally uncalled for. You two can disagree and fight all you want to among the Caddo family, but you don't take it outside and you don't try to jepordize someone livihood. And by going to her Board of Directors, it apprears that is just what you where attempting to do.

Because in the end we are all Caddos and we should be able to disagree with each other but still stand together at the end of day.

I ran for Secretary in the last election and lost in the run off to Diane Sparks who, by the way, does a great job so it's all good with me!

I was very angry that someone would come on here and start demanding information and calling the Caddos who post on here things like useless when I know most of us have the best at heart. I let my anger get the best of me and apologize if I alarmed Ms. Woodward with my hateful words. It happens to the best of us and I would never actually jeopardize anyones job.

Am very grateful for this forum. Thanks Jen, you are very professional. It takes courage to put forth a discussion like this. The easy thing to do would be to not say anything and hope things change at the Tribe. It takes courage to give an opinion, an opinion that Parker & Hinse will say ugly, ugly words to a fellow Caddo. There have been terrible things said and intimidation tactics used by those two in that council room. Have learned things on this forum that we could never know otherwise. Thanks to all who post. we know you care about the future of the Caddos. Even the sarcastic remarks that let people know when you disagree. Hey, it's ok to disagree. Just don't take it to a physical level and hurt someone. We all know has happened in the past with Parker chairing the meeting. That's so wrong.

Is Hinse really removed?

Yep, thats the word, Hinse is gone, Gone Baby Gone . One down, one to go but the council is not going to touch her, she apologized for what she said about suspending their votes, and that she was wrong, YA THINK.
I spoke with my aunt and she said they are not going to do anything to Parker, an attorney showed up at their last council meeting and said it would not look good to the casino people. Heck they have their contract, their not going anywhere. Personally she should be removed for many many reasons, one reason is we are broke, operating in the negative, how that is , don't know. Guess she is just waiting for the 10 mil. to come in , afterall she did sell out Hinse to remain on the check signing. So much for loyalty.
One year until her term expires, we can't wait that long. I agree with you all about this site, its a good thing , at least its one form of communication, and not just one sided like the Letter from the Chair in the newspaper we get

Got an email from the complex that there will be a Membership Meeting July 12,2008 in the Cultural Building. "Reports and updates to be the focus of this meeting". Hope to see as many as possible there.

I agree with ITSIE, the casino people have their contract so they are not going to care who is in office as long as they keep on signing the checks. One point the attorney (Lyle) did make is that he has seen where political turmoil has caused other tribes a higher interest rate by 2-3 percent. I'm not in a position to disagree with him since I don't the complete story behind these other tribes.

Removing someone for just cause isn't putting the tribe in turmoil. You would think getting rid of the root of most of the turmoil would be a good thing. It's way past time for Larue's reign to come to an abrupt end. Trust me...we as a tribe will do just fine, and the casino people as well.

I'm only speculating here, but, I think the real risk is what they might find when someone finally gets the chance to really dig into the books and see what's been going on up there. The inability to manage funds and resources properly could be somewhat unappealing to those putting their money on the line. Better to get it on and over with, all out in the open now rather than later. Who knows...

This defense of the "casino people will only deal with me." crap has gotten way old.....
