You know, if we are gonna see petitions going around maybe some of us need to get some going, heaven knows there is a bunch of stuff that parker and hinse have done that we need to undo and look into, believe there needs to be a good look into the "past education directors" actions and see where some of that money went to, we know the audits have been rather questionable. I mean, if we are gonna stir up a can of worms, how about a bucket of snakes.

The threat of this petition may be just what we need to get people to looking into things. Who knows how much money the tribe may recoup. Beginning to sound like this petition just might be the thing to bring things to light.

The petition is to remove Brenda, it seems like Larue has been after her for some time. Other than having a good head on her shoulders, I don't know what she could have done. Having half a brain and proving to be smarter than our emporer will get you tossed real fast in Caddo politics.

There is most certainly a petition, of course when I asked why they brought up something about an attorney. I mentioned that was not against the Constitution to contact and attorney. If that is the case, the I will go ahead with the petition for Parker, after all they spent thousands of our money to keep LaRue chairman,the council 5 remove her legally, constitutionally, and every way you can think of that is right, but when you friends with the super at the BIA you kind of get what you, but she is gone as well.
So much for LaRue keeping her word to the new council 5, we won't petition to get joyce back in but we didn't say we wouldn't petition to get something else done. You 5 best wake up and smell the coffee, a snake is a snake regardless of the words she hisses out of her mouth, do you job and do it now, quit waiting,she signed the check just like Joyce did, what makes her any better, there is not reason to keep her in ,look at all the damage she has done.
The petition has really made me mad, just because she has stood up to them, please....

Know Body, I hear there is a petition going around, haven't heard petitions. I have wondered the same thing. I understnd the constitution to say "if the membership does a recall, it is good for a year and if the council does a removal, the membership through a petition can oversturn the removal as soon as they can get the signatures, get the verified as valid and call for a meeting to overturn the councils action.

I understand the petition, if there is one, is to get Brenda Edwards because, withut Larues permission she asked the attorney to come to the meeting to see if the removal of Hinse and the petition to overturn the councils removal of her was valid. Larue did not and does not like anyone, council or whoever to do things without asking her. Nevermind that she is an elected council person just like the seven other council members.

I question the reasons and actions of those who follow her knowing she has been in there nine years and we have noting at the complex except some very well paid employees including her.

Based on the removal and recall process it sounds like a petition to recall larue would be the best choice of the two. A recall will last a year and at that point she cannot run again, she has served her three terms. A removal can be overturned by those who blindly or otherwise follow her. Just my thoughts.

A petition to overturn a council decision is called an initiative and referendum petition, it must have the usual 50 signatures but it goes to a vote of all the people ,not just those who can attend a meeting, it would mean the hand picked election board would have to conduct it , which of course would like the rest be flawed just by who is on there.
I agree, if they want to do petitions, let do one to recall LaRue but I think if the council would simply remove her, she ma be able to get the 50 signatures on a petition but there is no way in hell the people will vote her back in.
My aunt says we are deeply in debt, she is not even sure how we are able to meet payroll, hum, lay off LaRue remove her and save some money ,
